Welcome To

Parc Newydd Farm Caravan Site is a small, quiet, rural site to accommodate 30 caravans set within a 6 acre field at Parc Newydd Farm with easy access from the adjacent main road.  The site is within 3 miles of the nearest M4 junction and a key location for access to the west.

There are now 30 electric hook ups with night lights until midnight. There are no toilet or shower facilities so we are unable to accommodate tents. We now have a Climbing frame installed to keep children occupied.

Caravan Rallies and organised Camps are welcome to use the field

The Site is in a rural setting but close to Porthcawl town,  Nottage village, the beach, 3 golf courses and Kenfig Nature Reserve.  There are picturesque walks from your caravan. It is adjacent to Adventures Outdoor Activity Centre where you can partake in quad biking, wall climbing, paint balling on site with many more activities off site.

Porthcawl remains a popular tourist resort on the Heritage Coast, offering sandy beaches, a funfair and a varied shopping area. Both Cardiff and Swansea are within 30 minutes drive by virtue of the Site's proximity to the M4 – 3 miles.  It is 26 miles west of Cardiff, 11 miles south east of Port Talbot and 20 miles east of Swansea. It is ideally situated for holiday makers travelling to West Wales and Ireland to break their journey and explore Porthcawl.

Our Caravan Site is adjacent to Sker House, one of the Country's most important historical houses. The three golf clubs surrounding our Site are The Royal Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and the Grove.

Pink Bay, Sker Beach (the gate onto the footpath leading to these beaches is across the main road from the Site) and Kenfig Nature Reserve with Kenfig Pool and sand dunes are within walking distance.

We are ideally situated to explore the Coastal Walk from Merthyr Mawr to Kenfig National Nature Reserve a 11.5 miles / 18.5 km walk and it is on the Nottage Circular Walk. An approximately 20 minutes walk from Nottage village, where there is a choice of 3 public houses with restaurants, a general store and hairdressers. In the opposite direction in Kenfig and Mawdlam there is the well known Prince of Wales Public House which incorporates the town hall and a landlord who loves nothing better than to regale you with its history, and the recently renovated The Angel Inn.  A pleasant walk, along the footpath of the adjacent golf course, to the Grove Golf Clubhouse which is open to non-members for golf and food. Therefore, there is no shortage of eating establishments within a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes walk. There is a bus stop outside the caravan site to catch a bus to Porthcawl and Bridgend.
